Quaker Organizations
There are numerous Quaker Organizations serving various groups of Friends. They are listed alphabetically below. Click on any link to go to the Web site of that organization.
- American Friends Service Committee
The American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) is a Quaker organization committed to social justice, peace and humanitarian service around the world. Representatives from IMYM serve on the AFSC Corporation and the two organizations together sponsor the AFSC IMYM Joint Service Projects.
- Evangelical Friends Church International
A group with a commitment to Jesus Christ and a common desire to change our local and international worlds for Christ. This is a site for those who may be interested in a programmed or more fundamentally-based Meeting. - Friends Committee for Consultation (FWCC), World Office
The purpose of the Friends World Committee for Consultation is to encourage fellowship among all the branches of the Religious Society of Friends. The Quaker community circles the globe, spanning a rich diversity of regional cultures, beliefs and styles of worship. FWCC programs unite Friends around the world through Spirit-led fellowship.
- Friends Committee on National Legislation
The Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL) is a Quaker lobby in the public interest, seeking to promote national legislation in the areas of peace, justice, equality and environment. Representatives of IMYM serve on FCNL's Central Committee. - FLGBTQC
Friends for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Concerns (FLGBTQC) is a national Quaker organization open to all who share concerns about civil rights and other issues affecting these groups. Their Midwinter Gathering was held in North Carolina in 2007, and has met twice in New Mexico at Ghost Ranch. In addition they hold summer meetings at Friends General Conference.
- Friends General Conference (FGC)
Friends General Conference consists of 14 affiliated yearly meetings and associations, a number of directly affiliated monthly meetings, and other groups. More than 650 Meeting families are connected to FGC through the affiliated yearly meetings. FGC provides support and resources for Friends whether affiliated or not. A national group to which Flagstaff Meeting belongs. - Friends Peace Teams
Friends Peace Teams is a Spirit-led organization working around the world to develop long-term relationships with communities in conflict to create programs for peace building, healing and reconciliation. FPT’s programs build on extensive Quaker experience combining practical and spiritual aspects of conflict resolution. - Friends (Quaker) Yearly Meetings

- Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC), Section of the Americas
The FWCC brings together Friends from nearly all the yearly meetings in the world to promote better understanding among Friends of our common spiritual ground. Representatives of IMYM attend regional, sectional and triennial FWCC gatherings. - Pendle Hill

Quaker Earthcare Witness is a spiritually-centered movement of Quakers and like-minded people seeking ways to integrate concern for the environment with Friends' long-standing testimonies for simplicity, integrity, peace, and equality. - Quaker Information Center
Sponsored by AFSC, FGC, Pendle Hill, FWCC, FCNL and other Quaker organizations, this site is intended to be a gateway to learning about Quakerism. It provides a wide range of resources, including useful readings, organizational links, access to Quakerfinder.org and the Earlham College Digital Quaker Collection, and online listings of volunteer opportunities with Quaker organizations.

- Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors
In operation since 1948, this group helps military personnel in trouble and educates the public about militarism and supporting individual and collective efforts to stop the spread of militarism.
- Center of Conscience and War
The Center on Conscience and War, formerly the National Interreligious Service Board for Conscientious Objectors (NISBCO), was formed in 1940 by an association of religious bodies. The group works to defend and extend the rights of conscientious objectors. - Ghost Ranch
The annual gathering of Intermountain Yearly Meeting is held each June at Ghost Ranch Conference Center, in Abiquiu, New Mexico. - Quaker Bookstores
